Joseph A. Emanuelli is the Managing Broker at Tres Amigos Realty Group in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. Originally from New York, Joseph transitioned to Costa Rica from Arkansas where he lived and worked before making the full-time move. A retired executive chef with a deep passion for hospitality, he brings the same joy and care that fueled his culinary career to helping clients find their perfect home in paradise.
Joseph first visited Costa Rica in 1999 and was immediately captivated by its natural beauty, abundance of exotic produce, and the warmth of its people. After frequent visits and multiple real estate investments, he made the permanent move in 2007. His chance encounter with the founder of Tres Amigos Realty Group on a flight ultimately led to a career that has spanned over a decade, helping newcomers make their dreams of Costa Rican living a reality.
In addition to managing the Playa Hermosa office, Joseph supports clients with in-depth knowledge of the local market and serves as a mentor for new agents on the team. He is a legal permanent resident, a licensed Realtor through the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors, and an international affiliate of NAR. He holds multiple professional designations including CLHMS, CIPS, IRES, SDIRA, RSPS, and ACP, making him one of the most qualified professionals in the region.
